Domestic Student Checklist
To confirm your enrollment online, log into the Application Portal and submit your nonrefundable enrollment deposit by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or electronic check.
If you do not intend to enroll at Emerson College, please log into your?application portal, and fill out the "Graduate Reply to Offer of Admissions" form to officially decline your admissions offer.?
Once the Office of Graduate Admission receives your enrollment deposit, you will receive an email inviting you to create your ECNet and eCommon account.
After creating your account, you are provided with an Emerson College network account login (which we call ECNet) for accessing most electronic resources at Emerson College. With your ECNet account you can access your Emerson email account, personal web space, the Emerson College wireless network and other services.
Your Emerson email account is the College's official means of communication with you. If you would like to forward your ECmail to your personal account, visit our ECNet Services page. You are responsible for checking your account frequently for important reminders and notices from the College.
Students should read about our?Pre-Enrollment Health Requirements?and review our Guide to Using the Student Health Portal.?To begin classes, students must provide documentation of compliance with all health requirements to the Center for Health and Wellness by July 15 for fall enrollment and January 5 for spring enrollment. The Online Student Health Portal is now live and detailed instructions are available online.
Before matriculation to Emerson College, an official final college transcript?is required which includes the degree, degree date, GPA and a seal/stamp with signature.?The transcript or diploma must be an original, e-transcript or pdf directly?from the school/vendor. An original may be received from the student in a sealed envelope stamped as “official” from the granting institution.
For Communication Disorders students, CSDCAS final transcript and degree information is also considered official.
You cannot register for classes until we receive this?transcript. The College reserves the right to rescind admission if a final transcript is not received. Please send official final transcripts to:

Graduate Program Directors will contact students with specific instructions for registration via email. If you have not heard anything from your Graduate Program Director?four weeks?before the start of the semester, please let us know by contacting your admission counselor or by sending an email to?gradadmissionemerson [dot] edu (subject: Registration) .

For Communication Disorders Students ONLY
Entering Communication Disorders students who did not major in Communications Disorders as an undergraduate need to complete six preparatory courses prior to matriculating in our master’s program. If you have not already completed your prerequisite coursework and wish to enroll in any (or all) of the courses this summer, you can do so through Emerson’s Professional Studies and Special Programs department.?Review more information on these requirements ?

Graduate Orientation?
Graduate Orientation, mandatory for all incoming on-campus graduate?students, occurs for both the spring and fall semesters. Online and low-residency?students will have separate orientations, and will NOT attend Graduate Orientation. Your Graduate Program Director will reach out to you about orientation details for your specific program.?
On-campus students will receive an invitation via email about Orientation when dates and locations have been confirmed. Attendance is mandatory according to our?New Graduate Student Arrival Policy. Request a deferral
Admitted students who need to request a deferral for a future term may do so by submitting a written?gradadmissionemerson [dot] edu (request via email)?to the Office of Graduate Admission. Deferral requests are reviewed by committee and approval is not guaranteed. If a deferral is granted, students must submit a deposit within two weeks of being notified of the approved deferral in order to secure their space for a future term.
