As a teenager, Bobbi Brown wanted to look like supermodel Cheryl Tiegs, the thin, blue-eyed, blonde epitome of beauty in the late 1960s.
“I couldn't have looked any more different, and I spent a lot of time feeling bad about what I wasn't,” says Bobbi. “Then I saw Ali MacGraw in Love Story and I finally saw the possibility of my own beauty. This epiphany impacted how I viewed myself, how I saw other women, and it ultimately led me to my career as a makeup artist.”
Bobbi's love affair with makeup started at an early age when she discovered her mother's collection of cosmetics. Bobbi’s passion for beauty continued into her teens and led her to study theatrical makeup at Emerson College. After graduating, she headed for New York City to fulfill her dream of working as a professional makeup artist, and founded Bobbi Brown Cosmetics in 1991.
Today, Bobbi Brown is a world-renowned makeup artist and cosmetics industry entrepreneur. She is the founder?of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and the?best-selling author of several books on beauty.
As an entrepreneur, wife, and mother of three, Bobbi continues to strike a chord with today’s consumers, espousing a philosophy that calls for achieving and maintaining balance, cultivating a positive outlook, and loving yourself the way you are.
