The authority to apply the Code of Community Standards arises with the Board of Trustees and is passed through the President to the Assistant Dean of Campus Life, who in turn may delegate this authority to their staff and the Student Conduct Process. The Assistant Dean of Campus Life reserves the right to review sanctions imposed following any student conduct proceeding to ensure their appropriateness prior to their implementation. Students and recognized student organizations are responsible for the behavior of their guests.?The College reserves the right to refer a host of a guest to the Student Conduct Process when the guest’s behavior is reported to be in violation of the College’s Community Standards.?Any question of interpretation regarding the Code of Community Standards shall be referred to the Assistant Dean of Campus Life of Community Standards and Student Conduct or a designee for final determination. The right to apply expectations and to assign sanctions for violations of such expectations not covered by the Code of Community Standards, shall be reserved for the President, academic deans, and faculty of the various departments and their designees.?
