Nicholas Corsano coordinates and instructs the departments production workshops. He also assists the faculty in making future equipment selections. Prior to Emerson, Nicholas worked as a director of photography and new media maker, making works ranging from video sculpture to independent feature films.

Budget & Operations Manager
Jim Delaney ’91 oversees the department budget and purchasing, and coordinates faculty annual reviews and other confidential department records. Jim earned a BFA in English from Emerson’s Writing, Literature, and Publishing Department and a Paralegal Certificate from Suffolk University’s ABA-approved Applied Legal Studies program. He worked in the talent and literary agency field in Los Angeles, most recently for International Creative Management. He has also worked in television production for HBO and CBS in New York. A lifelong film fan, Jim blogs at The Lunch Movie and podcasts on The Grindhouse With Craig & Jim.

Director of Programming
Anna is the curator of the Bright Lights Film Series, a biweekly screening and talk series that is free and open to the public. She is also the manager of the Emerson Film Festival in Boston and the founder and manager of the Silversonic music video showcase. She serves in an advisory capacity for the It’s All True documentary showcase. She will be teaching an experiential learning course in the cinema, Behind the Screens: The Mechanics of Cinema Exhibition starting in Fall 2015. She has twenty years experience in film festivals and currently serves as a programmer for the Boston LGBT film festival. She has delivered talks at SXSW, The International Film Festival Summit, The Art House Convergence and will be addressing the University Film and Video Association this summer. Her current talk is entitled: Cinema Culture and the Importance of Communal Experience. She holds a BA in film analysis and technique from UMASS Amherst and and an MFA in film production from Boston University. She is currently working on organizing the Academic Cinema Consortium, a network of academic affiliated cinemas that will serve as a mini theatrical release for independent films without US distribution, which will be launching in Fall of 2015.

Eva Jansen Morales
Administrative Associate to the Chair
Eva provides administrative support to the Department Chair, Associate Chairs, and Program Directors in VMA. In addition, she manages the office and front desk operations, and serves as a faculty liaison, and supervise student staff. Eva is born and raised in and around Boston, MA. And she holds a double major BA in English Textual Studies and Spanish Language, Literature & Culture from Syracuse University. She is involved with various community groups centered around advocating change for women and multicultural groups. She comes to Emerson having worked in arts and theater management. A life goal of hers is to learn at least three Romance languages, she is currently teaching herself Italian. Eva loves to read, ballroom dance, eat absolutely everything, and pet dogs.?
Director of Production and Safety
Lenny Manzo oversees student productions from a safety standpoint, teaches safety lectures, and runs technical workshops to ensure proper use of equipment. Lenny has a broad base of experience in the film industry. He has worked as a sound mixer, producer, and director, as well as working in the majority of other departments on movie sets. He has worked on commercials, documentaries, and feature films from low to multi-million dollar budgets. He has also published an autobiography chronicling his twenty years of experience called Above the Line.

John-Albert Moseley supports the academic affairs of the Department by overseeing the academic and teaching schedules. He also helps VMA students with advising, registration, special permissions, and requirement overrides. He shepherds the process for degree audit updates, directed studies, and grade and major changes. Prior to Emerson, he served as Program Manager in Women’s, Gender, Sexuality Studies and LGBT Studies at Yale University. He holds a MAR from the Yale Institute of Sacred Music and bachelors degree from Southern CT State University. John-Albert is a classical singer and church musician, having performed with New York Baroque Opera, CT Opera, Boston Early Music Festival, Paul Winter Consort, New Haven Symphony, and Orchestra New England. He is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, Pride @ Work, and the National Association of Administrators in Higher Education.
