The best writers and industry professionals from around the nation and world have visited Emerson College as part of the WLP Reading and Publishing Series. Additionally, our distinguished faculty and alumni have celebrated their accomplished work as part of the Faculty/Alumni Reading Series.
The Writing, Literature and Publishing Department also provides many opportunities for students to read their work in order to build confidence in it and form lasting connections with other writers at Emerson, around Boston, and beyond.
WLP Reading Series
We invite some of the best writers from around the nation and the world to come to campus to meet with students, visit classes, discuss the craft of writing, and read from their latest work.

A speaker series that invites famous publishers, renowned magazine and book writers, and other industry professionals to campus. All events are free and open to the public.

WLP Scholar Research Series
WLP is pleased to announce the Scholar Research Series. This series is?intended to provide an opportunity for individuals to share with the rest of the community their works-in-progress and get?feedback on scholarly research in?a friendly and informal environment. Sessions will be held three times per semester.
